For my final grad show, I decided to showcase my personal branding, portfolio, "you books," and photography installation of a personal photography explorations. Here I have installed a 9 panel compilation of images. Theses images are taken by me and of me creating; like a self portrait. As a designer I have noticed that there is a lack of understanding of what a designer is. Mostly people believe that a designer is simply someone who sits behind a computer giving it commands as it does the "real work." Each image is a macro shot of me creating objects with my hands across many different media. These images express all that we designers are capable of with our hands and our minds. I believe that we as designers are more. Nerds, artists, thinkers, creators, fabricators, advocates, system lovers, community builders, and connection makers.
As a farewell to my fellow classmates and instructors, I asked for my peers to take card with my information to keep in contact, and in return they could leave me a message in their own creative way. Those messages left behind for me, I hold dear to my heart.
"Pillars" single parenting campaign
With a personal interest in the topic I developed a single parenting support campaign called Pillars. I Composed a thesis around developing a familial support system that would provide the essentials of what is needed by single parents, orphaned young adults, and many others, by establishing a strong framework of tangible support, social support, emotional support and network support. To deploy this message, constructed a brand and a system of events in 10 cities, made posters promoting the event, and a website that would act as a hub for this social movement. Each year, 10 new cities would become apart of the Pillars community strengthening the bonds between people nationwide.

These portraits tell the story of the individual. The model Jintanant Jintaseweng is a friend I have gotten to know well. Originally from Thailand, Jin has a very unique perspective and opinion. As a witness to her progressive development here in America I was inspired to tell her the story of her growth and the blossoming of her personality and creative capabilities as she adapts to living in a new, very different home.

Eyes Gone Wild Photography website
Hand built a fully functional website that features Damian Kelly’s black and white street photography. For this website it was important to communicate the importance of the pictures and his ability to tell stories with images. This site was not developed for commerce, but rather for an artist communicating to other individuals, friends, and family, through images. Executed an opening home page, bio, and 4 different pages dedicated to different photo albums.

"100 Year Dream" book design
Designed and produced a typographic book from the inspiration of a single black and white image. The image I selected was of a 100-year-old woman, in her Sunday bests, smoking a cigarette. From this image I was inspired to tell a 100-year story of a young girl with aspirations, each spread has its own title and tells a short story. With this book I experimented with type, image, and layout.

This project is an exploration in metaphorical portraiture. Here I used metaphors to describe selected character attributes with hand-drawn text juxtaposed over everyday objects.
